Vostok Intur now organising tours to North Korea’s Wonsan-Kalma resort zone

Russian journey company Vostok Intur has begun to invite vacationers to discover North Korea’s new Wonsan-Kalma vacationer zone alongside the east coast.

This initiative, which was introduced on Friday, twenty fourth January, has the potential of creating Russians the primary international vacationers to the placement.

As of press time, the Vladivostok-based tour company has introduced three tour dates to Wonsan-Kalma, starting in July of this 12 months.

On its Telegram account, Vostok Intur introduced in Russian: “Be the first guests and spend an unforgettable vacation in one of the most ecologically clean places in the world with the best entertainment for any budget, as well as restaurants to suit every taste.”

North Korean chief Kim Jong-un not too long ago inspected Wonsan-Kalma along with his daughter, praising it because the “first big step” in advancing the tourism business and describing it as “very spectacular, beautiful and magnificent.”

An eight-day sojourn

Vostok Intur’s introductory tour will run for eight days, with the primary tour scheduled for seventh to 14th July.

Two extra tours have already been scheduled for August, and each will value travellers US$1,400 excluding further bills in Russian rubles.

The price consists of seven nights with three meals a day, together with all flights, and inside tours of Pyongyang on the return journey.

According to an official authorities announcement, Wonsan-Kalma opens this June after ten years of building.

This is likewise seen as a transfer to safe foreign exchange regardless of worldwide sanctions.
