Wölfel formally takes workplace on sixteenth September

Turkish airline SunExpress introduced that Helmut Wölfel can be stepping in as its new commercial director starting 16 September.
Wölfel succeeds Peter Glade who leaves the airline subsequent month after a profitable eight-year tenure.
SunExpress CEO Max Kownatzki mentioned of Wölfel: “I am delighted to welcome [him as he] brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in various commercial roles within the airline industry, particularly in the leisure travel segment. In his new position, Wölfel can be accountable for driving the corporate’s commercial technique, with a deal with increasing the airline’s community, rising buyer satisfaction and integrating cutting-edge applied sciences to allow quicker, extra environment friendly companies.
Wölfel holds over 25 years of expertise within the aviation trade. Since 2021, he has labored as chief commercial officer at Discover Airlines. Prior to this, he additionally held numerous administration positions inside the Lufthansa Group together with head of controlling HR and IT, vice-president for intercontinental community planning, in addition to vice-president of the airline’s commercial hub in Munich.
